Mount Hope’s Nursing Center provides short term rehab programs for patients following surgery or a chronic illness. When elderly patients are discharged from the hospital following an injury, illness or surgery, they can often be faced with the tough decision of how best to recover. Staying for a short period of time in a facility with trained experts on hand for any emergency can provide great relief and the recovery treatment needed to get back to good health.
Some common reasons for short term rehab stay include:
- Knee replacement surgery
- Hip replacement surgery
- Recovery from pneumonia or another illness that caused hospitalization
- Heart Attack
- Accident that caused hospitalization or surgery
Our goal with short term rehab is to return our patients to their optimum functioning level, to coordinate rehabilitation services with the comprehensive medical and restorative needs of the patient, to provide a smooth transition back into the community and for each patient to leave feeling healthy, confident in their abilities, and well cared for.
In addition to providing short term rehabilitation service, Mount Hope Nursing Center also offers outpatient rehab services.
