Adult Day Care can prevent the need for re-hospitalization and delay the need for permanent long term nursing home care. At Mount Hope our compassionate and skilled staff will ensure your loved one is comfortable and well cared for while you work, run errands, or simply take personal time to rest and recharge.
For seniors who enjoy companionship, Adult Day Care creates a sense of community in which those in similar situations can enjoy time together. It not only helps to stimulate enriching social interaction with others, which has been shown to help maintain or even improve cognitive functions, but also promotes emotional well-being by giving seniors a sense of security and independence that allows them to enjoy companionship and activities at our nursing home facility then return to their own home at the end of the day.
Specialized daytime care is a significant source of support that can improve the quality of life for both seniors and their caregivers. Our compassionate staff members treat each individual with the respect and attentive care they deserve while giving caregivers peace of mind in knowing their loved one is in a safe and nurturing environment.
If you are you concerned about leaving your loved one alone during the day, adult day care is a wonderful option. Our Adult Day Care program can benefit caregivers and those suffering from memory-related conditions in a number of ways:
-Delays the need for permanent long-term nursing home care.
-Creates a sense of community for seniors who enjoy companionship.
-Keeps families together, which can improve the quality of life for both the caregiver and their loved one.
-Promotes emotional and cognitive health through activities and social interaction.
-Gives caregivers the chance to take a break from their caregiving responsibilities, allowing time to work, run errands, or rest.
-Provides a cost effective alternative to in-home care.
